General terms and conditions of sale
Registrations for activities are subject to the general terms and conditions of sale of Gajou asbl, which you accept by ticking the box provided during online registration. The date and version accepted are recorded with your registration.
Hosting
The website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, United States (vercel.com). The data is stored in a PostgreSQL database provided by Neon (neon.tech) and hosted by Amazon Web Services, in the "us-east-1" region (Virginia, United States). As these providers are located outside the European Union or store data outside it, the transfers rely on the safeguards they offer (the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses).
Personal data — registration form
The registration form collects the parent's first and last name, email address and telephone number, as well as the child's first name, last name and date of birth. This information is used to manage the registration and to contact the family again about the chosen activity (confirmation, payment, practical arrangements, the child's safety): this is the purpose of this processing, carried out at your request by completing this form. For a registration, the date and version of the general terms and conditions of sale that you have accepted are kept as proof of that acceptance.
This data is never sold. It is shared with Gajou asbl's internal management tool, used to organise activities and contact families again, and with the providers strictly necessary for the service: Stripe for online payment (Gajou asbl neither receives nor stores your bank card details) and Resend for sending emails. It is kept for a maximum of 12 months from receipt of the form, then deleted.
The form allows you, on an optional basis, to flag health information about the child (allergy, treatment, precaution). This sensitive data is only recorded with your explicit consent, solely to ensure the child's safety during the activity. It is encrypted, accessible only to authorised staff of the association, and deleted at the end of the season. You can withdraw your consent or have it erased at any time.
This page serves as the privacy policy of Gajou asbl. You can at any time request access to, correction of or deletion of your data by writing to info@gajou.be. If you believe your rights are not being respected, you may lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority (DPA) — autoriteprotectiondonnees.be.
