Frequently asked questions

What people ask us most often, before you even need to write.

From what age can I enrol my child?
Your child is welcome from the age of 3.
What are the hours and the cost of the childcare?
Childcare is available from 8am to 9am and from 4pm to 6pm, at a weekly flat rate (12€) or a daily rate (3€). Childcare is paid for in cash, on site, on Monday. The exact hours of the course itself are shown on each activity's page.
How much does it cost?
The price of a full week of the course is 130 euros. Childcare is not included in this price and is offered as an extra: - 3 euros per day - 12 euros for the whole week You can choose the childcare option that best suits your needs when you register.
Will I receive a tax certificate?
Not for 2026: Gajou does not yet have the ONE "holiday centre" accreditation that allows us to issue this certificate. We are aiming to obtain this accreditation for the following seasons.
What does my child need to bring?
The list of items to bring (packed lunch, clothes, etc.) will be sent with the registration confirmation, once the specific activity has been announced.
How does registration work?
You choose the course on the website and fill in the registration form (contact details, child, optional medical form, acceptance of the general terms and conditions of sale). Payment is then made online, securely. Your place is reserved for 45 minutes to give you time to pay. After this time, the place is released again, but you will receive an e-mail with a link to resume your registration where you left off (link valid for 48 hours, subject to remaining places). Once payment has been made, you will receive a confirmation by e-mail.
Is it a sports course?
At Gajou, the aim is not to practise a specific sport. Each course is built around an immersive world and a story. The children will play, create, move around, think, take on challenges and enjoy a variety of activities throughout the adventure.
What happens if my child has allergies or special needs?
When registering, please do fill in your child's medical form.
What does a typical day at Gajou look like?
At Gajou, there is no such thing as a typical day: every day is different and takes your child into a story.
Can my child attend the stage on a daily basis?
It depends on the stage. Our stages tell a story that unfolds over the whole week, so we recommend the full week. For some periods, notably the Christmas holidays, day-by-day registration is possible: the stage page then shows the words "Possible à la journée" and you choose the days you want when you register. The price for one day is fixed and never exceeds the price for the week.
Can I pay in cash on Monday morning?
The stage is paid for online when you register. Childcare, however, is not paid for online: it is settled in cash, on site, on Monday. For unplanned childcare during the week, we also accept cash.
